2011 Budweiser Grand Nationals Weekend Grand Marshall

Each year we honor an individual who has contributed to our motorcycle community in a very special way This year we are pleased to honor Sheriff Mike McCoy. Sheriff McCoy has been a longtime supporter of motorcycles as well as one of the originators of a very special motorcycle ride from Peoria to Memphis.  This ride is called the St. Jude Rides.

"St. Jude Rides – Peoria to Memphis" began with a conversation between a couple of good friends. Cofounders Mike McCoy and Brad Wiebler had an idea of one more way to raise money for their favorite charity, St. Jude. Brad and his wife, Angie (Event Coordinators) and Mike and Sherianne McCoy began to plan for year number 1 of what they hoped to be a long and prosperous event. The ride, modeled after the St. Jude Run, also founded by McCoy, began in 2007. Each year over 100 motorcycles participate in this run and to date have raised over $800,000.00.
